Engine: 75 to 110 HP - Powerful Perkins®
1104 (4-cylinder) and 1106 (6-cylinder) diesels are Tier II compliant for
maximum fuel economy and minimum emissions. The SisuDiesel™ Citius 44 DTA
125 HP engine uses new technology to produce more power with greater fuel
efficiency.
PTO: 60 to 105 hp @ 2200 rpm – For maximum versatility and
efficiency, the 5400 Series tractors include independent PTO with 540 and
1,000 rpm standard
Transmission: Close ratio, synchromesh transmission has 16F x
16R speeds with Speedshift™, all on a single right-hand control. The
Speedshift transmission comes standard with a mechanical reverser or you can
choose the optional power reverser for clutchless direction change at your
finger tips. A new transmission option for this year is the Dyna-4™
electro-hydraulic 16F x 16R semi powershift transmission. This transmission
features a single T bar handle that allows you to powershift through 4
ranges and 4 speeds within each range.
Hydraulics: The 5400 Series comes standard with a dual pump,
open center hydraulic system capable of supplying 15 gallons per minute to
the remotes. If additional flow is required for an application the optional
combined flow, open center hydraulic system will deliver 26 gallons per
minute to the remotes. Tractors over 80 PTO horsepower are available with
load sensing, closed centered 29 gallon per minute hydraulics.
3-point hitch: The Electronic Lift Control (ELC) gives you a
choice of draft sensing mode for quick response to changing field
conditions, or position control mode for maintaining a steady height or
depth.
Operator's Area: Choose a cab or platform model and you can
expect state-of-the art comfort and convenience. With 61 sq. feet of glass
and ergonomically designed instruments and controls, the operator’s area
makes operation of the tractor as simple as possible.

angle, 22 degrees of oscillation for improved maneuverability.
